I must ask, however, what is so laughable?  We all (insert your medical title here) have failed in the management of low back pain.  Many continue to ignore the evidence that supports the classification of patients with acute low back pain and the interventions provided by Physical Therapists.

I&#039;m not trying to be something other than what I&#039;m trained to be.  A Physical Therapist with sound, scientific evidence to support the interventions I use.  

Try and catch up.  The days of doctor-directed treatment is over.  Many to most referrals come with the infamous &quot;Evaluate and Treat&quot; prescription - also including &quot;At therapist discretion).  If you aren&#039;t seeing this, you aren&#039;t looking.</description>
